Constant Output: Week 5

This week I finished the digital painting I started last week. Last week, I only had the face done, so this time I did the hair, hand, book, and everything else. Something that I unexpectedly had trouble with was with the blood tears. I wanted to add depth to it, but then I realized I don't really know how to draw liquids?? I added some highlights add shadows based on where I thought they would be, but I don't know if it was really that successful. I also realized that I only use a few tools when painting (mainly brushes and layers + masks), but don't really use blending modes very much, so maybe I should try to incorporate them somehow next week.
