Constant Output: Week 3

This week I wanted to focus on blending, since last week I realized I had no idea how to blend colors, and therefore no idea how to shade/highlight. I watched this video to learn some blending techniques and what brushes to use. Then I did a painting of a orange (using this as a reference image), with a focus getting across the sense of lighting and depth, while making sure there were smooth transitions between the different shades. I think the final result might be too over blended since I was only using certain brushes, so next week I might try to figure out how to find the balance between blending/shading and line art.
