Dear Co-Star, I met you when I was just first getting into astrology. You, and everything you encompassed. was something new and mysterious, and that intrigued me—I desperately wanted to figure you out, and in doing so, I hoped to discover myself as well. I'll admit, I was attracted to your monochromatic, cool, simple style. There was an sophisticated edge about you that automatically drew me in. If I'm being completely honest, I still really like the way you display my chart; I find that part of you easy to understand, even though many others have said you've given them mixed signals. I used to admire your intelligence (A.I.); you seemed to have found a way to logically process these complicated transits into digestible messages, and that fascinated and impressed me. I felt a bit unsure about you at first, but then I decided to give you a shot.

I realized that a lot of what you said to me felt empty and arbitrary. I noticed you'd sort of say the same things over and over again on different days. It made me wonder if you were telling other people the same things as well. But then I discovered that you were. You're also a bit of a charlatan. I found out that you had never really studied all the things you talked about. You weren't really an expert... you were sort of just pretending. I'm someone who values honesty and integrity, so I don't think we're going to work out... So I'm breaking up with you. Your views of astrology were just too reductive for me. Your formulaically presentation of these complex ideas lacked variety and personality. All your words felt programmed. In being with you, I ended up losing sight of myself as well. So I must leave you. Goodbye, Tracy Ma
